Your safety and enjoyment are our number one priority!
Please read our Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility to Book
The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.
The booking party is responsible for the conduct of everyone in their group.
2. Passenger Capacity
Each captained charter is limited to 6 paying passengers, per USCG rules for the class of vessel. This limit is set by law and applies regardless of age or size. Infants and children are counted as passengers.
3. Alcohol
Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol.
Anyone consuming alcohol on board must be 21 or older, per Florida law.
The captain may refuse boarding, or end the charter early without refund, if a guest appears visibly intoxicated or their behavior threatens safety.
4. Life Jackets & Safety Equipment
USCG-approved life jackets are provided for every passenger.
Children under 6 must wear a properly fitted USCG Type I, II, or III life jacket at all times while the vessel is underway, per Florida law.
The captain has final authority over safety equipment use at any time.
5. Conduct & Prohibited Items
No smoking or vaping on board.
No pets, including emotional support animals; service dogs are allowed.
No fishing, swimming, or diving from the vessel.
All passengers must keep arms, legs, and heads inside the boat at all times. No riding on the bow or stern.
No open flames or candles, and no confetti, glitter, or loose rose petals. Balloons are welcome for photos but must stay on shore before departure.
6. Weather & Vessel Conditions
EcoBoats reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a charter for conditions such as extreme wind, rough water, lightning, or mechanical failure. We'll give as much notice as possible and work with you to reschedule at no charge.
7. Late Arrival & No-Show
Please arrive 15 minutes before your reservation time for orientation and check-in.
Your reservation reserves a time slot, not a set number of hours — your charter will always end at the originally scheduled time, regardless of when you arrive. If you're running behind, please call us so your captain can plan accordingly.
If you haven't arrived, and we haven't heard from you, within 45 minutes of your start time — or if you arrive after your charter's scheduled end time — your booking will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
8. Advance Cancellation & Rescheduling
Guests may cancel or reschedule with no penalty up to 24 hours before their scheduled departure time.
Cancellations and rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before departure are not available.
Bookings made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled, from the time of booking.
9. Ending a Charter Early
No refunds or prorating are given if a guest chooses to end their charter before the reserved time is up.
10. Personal Belongings
EcoBoats is not responsible for guests' personal belongings.
11. Assumption of Risk
By booking and boarding any EcoBoats vessel, the booking party and all guests in their group acknowledge that boating carries inherent risks, including serious injury, death, or property damage, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions at booking (by the person making the reservation, on behalf of their group) serves as the assumption-of-risk acknowledgment.
